Dear Sedoris Family, please accept our heartfelt sympathies with your loss of Mary. She was always sweet & understanding to us neighborhood kids despite our occasional(?) rowdiness. I had a brief inspiration in the 5th grade to learn to play a musical instrument after attending a Springfield Symphony performance at Memorial Hall for city elementary kids. Mary performed on violin that day and made it look so graceful & effortless. My choice of instrument was violin...Mother drove all over town with me shopping for this instrumenlt. As it turns out we learned that a lot of work goes into playing an instrument and frankly I was just too tall to play the violin! I cherish the memory of growing up on Kingswood. The love for each other went unsaid, but understood. I will always remember Mary dressed in black seated on that stage commanding that violin looking so wonderful and inspiring this dreamer! May God be be holding her in the palm of His hand. Love goes on, her love goes on with each of the Sedoris family and all of us who were blessed by God to have Mary in our lives.
