John EWEN Obituary

EWEN, John Rick

Age 66 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away December 22, 2020, in his home in Deland, Florida.

He was the son of late Ralph & Joyce Ewen. He is survived by two sons and one daughter; Tyler Andrisek, RJ Ewen and

Jessica Ewen and five grandchildren.

Rick has 3 sisters, Karen Bolden (Dave), Pam Ewen (Kenny) & Cheryl Johnson (Everett).

He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles, colleagues, friends and his best friend.

Rick was employed by Lincare Healthcare where he was a Respitory Therapist working the front lines through this awful pandemic.

Rick graduated from Garfield High School in 1973, where he excelled at Football, Basketball & Baseball.

He attended Mississippi State University on an Athletic Scholarship.

Rick served his country for years in the United States Navy.

He loved music and attended many live concerts, old movies, especially his collection of The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast, fishing, cards, dancing, researching, drinking bourbon &

romancing the ladies....

Ricky enjoyed his journey and he lived his life "his way".

I know Rick from when we were kids playing hardball at North End. Heck of a ball player and I always hated when he was pitching against us. So sorry to hear of his passing and condolences to his family.
