Harold WHITLOCK Obituary

WHITLOCK, Harold Hunt

Age 92 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on June 29, 1928, in Richmond, KY, the son of the late Henry and Mabel (Blackaby) Whitlock. On October 26, 1951, in Covington, KY, he married his wife of over 64 years, Dorothy Mae (Elliott) Whitlock, and she preceded him in death on May 16, 2016. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and worked as a carpenter and locksmith all his life, retiring from Miami University. Harold is survived by his children, Ronald (Sandy) Whitlock, Deborah (Dewayne) Cavin, Garry Whitlock, Larry Whitlock, Donna Whitlock, Dennis Whitlock, Brian Whitlock, Deanna Lewis, and Darla Whitlock; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, John Edward Whitlock; and sisters, Mayme Wilson and Mary Gullett. A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Darrtown Cemetery, Darrtown, OH, with Rev. Chris Trumbull officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's name to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013. Condolences may be left for the family at www.Webb-Noonan.com.
