Dorothy WILCOX Obituary
Age 96 of Oxford, Ohio, passed away on January 4th, 2021, at The Knolls of Oxford. She was born in Middletown, Ohio, on June 30, 1924, the daughter of Gentry and Candus (McIntosh) Dunaway. On September 8, 1945, she married William
Wilcox. Three children were born from this marriage: Her daughter and longtime
caregiver Sheryl Allen (Wilcox) and two sons Rick and Gary Wilcox.
She leaves one brother Richard (Faye) Dunaway and a sister-in-law Hazel Dunaway; eleven grandchildren, Duane McWhorter, Phil (Katsuko) Hensley, Mandy (Jeff) Long, Kris
Allen, Rick Jr (Shannon) Wilcox, Sherry Mae (Maurilio) Wilcox-Rodriguez, Randy (Kim) Wilcox, Jennifer French, Terra Wilcox, Renee (Jason) Dean and Nicole (Michael) Sullivan; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dorothy was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, her son Rick, her brothers Troy, Art, and Bill Dunaway and her
sister Margie (Dunaway) Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011.
Burial will take place at Springhill Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.rosehillfunerals.com.
