David OTY Obituary
David Daniel Oty Sr., 79, of Springfield, went home to be with his Lord on January 6, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 10, 1941, in Waverly, Ohio, the son of Archer and Agnes (King) Oty. Mr. Oty was a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church of God. He enjoyed collecting toy cars, fishing and spending time with his loving family. He was formerly employed at Blair Manufacturing. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Annabell (Smith) Oty; two children,
David Daniel (Elizabeth Fallon) Oty, Jr. and Katherine (Shawn) Hall; three grandchildren, David III, Reese (Nikki) and Shawna; three great-grandchildren, Addison, Logan and Noah; one sister, Shirley Maxson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Dolan Robinson, June Lewis, Mary Eddy, Sam Oty, William Oty, Jack Oty, Paul Oty and his parents. Funeral services will be held in the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church of God, 3318 Dayton Road, Springfield at 1:00PM Tuesday with Pastor John Rice officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
