Chip, Jennifer and Mikey, you are all in my thoughts. As I look back as far as 1972 in High School seeing Karen’s smiling face and hearing her kind words to seeing her daughter and mine play soccer together years later. A treasure to all who knew Karen and her family. Love, Monica Pollitt-Smith

Karen was the best aunt I could've hoped for. One of my favorite memories of her is when I was young and Karen and Chip gave my sister and I two wheel barrels full of candy for Easter. It was the best present a kid could get! When I think of Karen I think of a woman who was always smiling or laughing or figuring out a way to enjoy life and family. She will always be a light that shines bright - in our memories, in our hearts, and for all eternity. Karen, thank you for living a genuine life, for loving deeply, and being a wonderful aunt to me. It's true... nobody puts baby in a corner... she'll come out dancing every time. It was a joy to watch you dance through this life, Karen. I love you.
