MEYER, Richard R. "Rick"


Richard R. "Rick" Meyer, 73, of Middletown, died on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Cincinnati on May 25, 1947, to parents Leo John and Viola Magdalene Meyer. Rick had worked as an Electrical Instrument Repair Technician for Smurfit Stone Container, retiring in 2007 after 42 years with the company. He served as a Union official for 20 years. Rick was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Loyal Order of Moose #501, and was active in motorsports and drag racing. Mr. Meyer is survived by his wife, Michelle Meyer; special companion, Janet Tolson; and brother, Donald (Jenni) Meyer. He was preceded in death by his

parents; brother, James Meyer; sister, Virginia Gerrety; and nieces, Traci Behlau & Mary Jo Gerrety. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Father John Civille officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
