Woody and I worked together in the patient family library at Dayton Children’s Hospital for many, many years. He was a beloved member of our volunteer team. Woody liked to talk and taught us about Rails to Trails, bicycles, the Wright Brothers and Greene County parks. Woody enjoyed talking with the children at work-he just lit up. He spoke fondly of Harriet and his family. He lived a life of service to others and his family should be proud. It was an honor to know him and work with him. My sympathies to Harriet and the family.

I spent many hours working with Woody at Dayton Children’s. He always impressed me with his knowledge of local parks, the Rail Trail and cycling. I remember him fondly. Please accept my condolences for his passing.
