Passed on Sunday, March 7, 2021. In addition to those who preceded him, he was also recently preceded by his niece,
Bailey Egleston. Her name was inadvertently omitted from his obituary. Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at
Buster's Bar, 112 Charles St., Middletown. His complete

So very sorry to hear of his passing. I haven't seen him in over 15 years, but I remember him most for his kindness way back in the mid-70's. What a great guy. He sure made a difference.

I spent quite a few younger years with Charlie. Me, Tim Pitts, Keith Brandenburg and Kenny Jones terrorized the town with our hot rods and care-free life style. Now they are all gone except me to recall the long summers. See you all soon enough. Save me a seat at the bar.....

I am so grieved by Buster's passing. My cousin was the best person ~ so loving and caring! He would give you the shirt off his back! He will be missed by so many. I will miss his sense of humor and his laughter. He was my big teddy bear! I look forward to the day when we see each other again. Always in my heart and thoughts.
