Jeffrey Ables Sr.

Jeffrey S. Ables Sr. ~ "Jeff or Boulder", age 65, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday March 11, 2026, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 17, 1960, son of the late Marjorie A. (Brown) and Donald O. Ables. Jeff will always be known as a "Jack of all Trades" there wasn't anything he couldn't do. He was an avid fisherman and a big 49'ers and NASCAR fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Ables. Jeff is survived by his wife 11 years, Tammy (VanHouten) Ables; his son Jeffrey S. (Ashley Miller) Ables; his daughter Dixie Ables; 4 step children, Tracey Fagnant, Anthony "TJ" Wyckoff, Kristina Hamler, and Tori Ladd; 2 grandchildren, Temperance & Leon Ables; 7 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Donna Wilson and Deborah Crump; his brother Charles "Charlie" Ables; numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Wednesday March 18, 2026, at the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, Germantown, Ohio, where the Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m., with Dr. Dan Flory officiating.
