I will miss my friend. Although we hadn't seen each other for a couple of years, Ernie was many times in my thoughts. He was kind and caring to all. We went on many a long bike ride together, and although we went with many other friends, spent lots of those days riding together just talking as we meandered down the roads. Just laughing and having a good time. I will miss him.

To all of Erie's family.I Truly cared alot of him.He and I started our apprentiship together in 1977.He and where always close friends at work.He helped my alot and I admired his ability. He never said no to anything I ever asked of him and I did the same for him.We hung out for awhile in the beginning but our lives moved in different paths. I remember when Erine and Patty first started seeing each other.Patty and Erinie where a match made in heaven.I will never forget him and that wonderful laugh he had.Everybody liked Ernie.I know that Jesus will take him in right away.God bless you Erine.I will miss you my old friend.Till we meet again buddy.Scotty Campbell.

To the family of Ernie. So very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Ernie. Sending thoughts and prayers, love and condolences to all of the family. Lenny and I always thought a lot of Ernie as a friend and coworker. And if I remember correctly, Ernie was one of Lenny’s apprentices. Praying that God will wrap you up in his loving and help you find peace during this difficult time. Diana Budding

I remember Ernie from high school as being quiet and sweet. It does not surprise me that he went on to become a beloved church going, family man.

I am sad that the world has lost another sweet soul and send his loved ones my condolences.
