Age 55, of Franklin, OH, died Saturday, October 30, 2021, at her residence. Dawn was born in Middletown, OH, on October 1, 1966, to Ronald and Charlotte Hood. She was a licensed beautician for many years and was currently employed with Century Molding in Monroe. Her father, Ronald Hood preceded her in death. Dawn is survived by her husband, Gary McClain; her son, Tommy Thacker; her mother, Charlotte
(Larry) Peek; her brothers, Jeff (Leslie) Hood, Scott (Jenna) Hood; her nephews, Bradley Hood, Lance Hood; her nieces, Kelsey (Brandon) Wells, Cosette Hood. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the
Anderson Life Celebration Center, 360 Commerce Park Dr., from 6pm to 8pm.
