DOUGLAS GOINS Obituary

GOINS, Douglas D.

Douglas D. Goins, age 78 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, November 8, 2021. Doug was born in El Paso, Texas, on January 28, 1943, to the late Carson and Pansy (Baker) Goins. Doug enjoyed sports and was a dedicated Browns fan. He also enjoyed fishing in Wisconsin, and keeping up with the pool for the kids and grandkids. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Doug is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris Jean Goins; his children, Denise (Alex) Robinson, Melissa Meister, Darrin Goins, and Michael Goins; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Valerie, Zack, Jake, Ali, Kyle, and Konner; his 9 great-grandchildren; his brother, Gary Goins; as well as many extended family members and friends. Doug was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald Goins and Greg Goins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 11:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
