Very sad hearing this sad news, my prayers go out to the family - Raleigh was truly a wonderful and inspirational person.

When we (Rich & John Bennion) first heard the sad news about Raleigh, we chatted and waxed nostalgic. We first met him in kindergarten at Crescent Park Elementary School. We remember him as happy, intelligent, and a fun playmate. We would often play board games (usually sports related) at his home just a couple of blocks away. We thought it was really cool that his Dad was a famous sportscaster that we listened to for years (Stanford and the 49ers). Rich remembers his father giving Raleigh on-air post-game credits for his statistical work during the games. Although not a particularly gifted athlete himself, Rolly (that's how he spelled his name at Crescent Park), he was an enthusiastic rooter for the Crescent Park Kittens, Jordan Dolphins, and of course the Vikes. John enjoyed re-connecting with him and the 50th reunion. It's apparent that he lived a full and productive life close to his loving family, and he made the world a better place. We loved his obituary and are guessing that he was the principal author -- it sounds so much like the Rolly we remember through 13 years of school together! Sincere condolences from "the twins".

It was wonderful to catch up with Raliegh at our 50th High School Reunion and since then we corresponded via social media messaging. What an interested, interesting, curious, knowledgeable, warm individual! He will be long remembered and he will be missed!
