Suddenly, of Columbia, SC, formerly of Buffalo, NY, at the age of 56. Loving father of Brittany Griffin and McKenzie Griffin; dear brother of Michael (Kelli) Griffin; cherished son of the late Michael J. and Diane (nee Richard) Griffin. The family will be present Tuesday, January 18th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the (Cleveland Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 569 Cleveland Dr., where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, donations may be made in Patrick's memory to Safe Haven Recovery, 1690 Coldwater Canyon Dr., Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Pat, I don´t see you anymore, but I feel your presence, I don´t hear you anymore, but your voice rings in my ears- very clearly- you became a best friend to me very quickly, your humor, laughter, sensitivity and honesty. And regardless of the way things turned out, I´ll always remember you most for your diligent journaling and determination to be better. I always admired you for that. It´s a shame we won´t be able to have lunch again physically, but we shall meet again my dear friend. RIP,

Pat absolutely loved his daughters and I am not sure that I ever met a father more proud of his girls than I had heard their father brag of both Brittany and Makenzie- (not sure I spelled that right) but he loved his girls so, so, so much... I´m so sorry to both of you girls
