We think our friends are made of steel and will never rust. Ted was in that special category. You receive a phone call out of the blue and he says, "How are you doing?" Always thinking of others and keeping tabs on his teammates. May his soul rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the family. It was my good fortune to have been an old friend and teammate of Ted's at O.U. Though we didn't have the opportunity to see or talk much over the years, he will always be remembered as a person i looked up too and a steadying influence in my life. He was a HOFer on and off the field! He will be missed.

I was so shocked to hear this news. He was such a good friend. I will miss him so much even tho we lived far apart we always had each other´s back. I loved when we could get together and share our memories. God will have a special place for Ted because of all the good he shared will with us. RIP Hunja

So sorry to hear of the loss of Ted. He was a kind and friendly man, who always waved or stopped in to talk for a few minutes when he passed by. He was always looking for something to stay busy. He is already greatly missed by all who knew him. God bless and comfort his family.

We were devastated to hear of Ted´s passing. He was a very special friend who we shared a few escapades with in years past. It meant a lot to us to have reconnected with Ted and Becky this past year. Sending the family our love and prayers. Ted will be dearly missed.

So sorry I will not be able to attend the memorial as I live in Marietta, GA. And being the same age as Ted, just too old to travel anymore. Ted was a very good friend of mine. He really helped with the reunion meetings. I will miss talking to him. Prayers to the family.

My heartfelt sympathies. I have always loved your family and memories we have had together. Ted repaired Tony´s wheelchairs many times. He will be remembered for his generosity and kindness.
