Marjorie Jo Taylor, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.
She was born in Edgar and raised in Corpus Christi. She raised her family in Northport, NY before retiring to San Antonio with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna Lea Thigpen and Guy McClure Smothers; husband, Golden Jay; and son Brian.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Michael and wife Constance; daughter Cynthia; and grandchildren Katelyn, Emma Jean and Carol; and great grandchildren Jonah and Jude.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the San Antonio Food Bank (210-431-8326).
