David Tafoya passed away on February 9, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 60. Born on September 24, 1965, David brought joy and laughter to those around him with his positivity, helpfulness, and wicked sense of humor.

He is lovingly remembered by his partner, Jerry Aguilar; his mother, Josie; his sisters Paula (Mike) and Missy (JP); his brother Chris (Traci); and his cherished nieces and nephews.

David had a deep love for animals and found great joy in their companionship. He was also passionate about music and loved Mel Brooks movies.

I met David in b the 90s he was a funny guy and loved life. We would have lunch and when he was a nurse he got to talk with my mom and she told me he was a beautiful person. Thank you David I miss and love you. Until we meet again.
