Francesca "Frannie" Tafoya

Francesca "Frannie" Tafoya passed away on March 10, 2026, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, she was 39 years old. She was born on July 26, 1986, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Frannie was a graduate of Grants High school. She was a car sales associate working at several dealerships. She was also a talented tattoo artist. She was an advocate for the homeless by providing free haircuts and collecting money to provide clothes and necessities. But Frannie will be remembered for her genuine heart and giving soul. She is loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her father Michael Tafoya. Her sister Mikah Coats along with her husband Jeff and their children; Jeffery and Journee Coats. Her grandmother; Laurie Semeraro. Her best friend; Jasmine Jones. She also leaves behind extended family members and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Michelle Semeraro. Her grandparents; Rocco Semeraro, Ignacio Tafoya Jr., and Helen Tafoya. Her niece; Jianna Arielle Coats.

On Friday March 20, 2026, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic church a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 AM, Then at 11:00 AM a Mass will be celebrated. Inurnment will follow at Grants Memorial Park. Reception will host family and friends @ the Elks lodge following services.

Pallbearers include Kim Chavez, Roberta Chavez, Kylie Kipp, Heather Apodaca, Fatima Colon, and Brittany Espinosa.

Honorary Pallbearers include Jeffery Coats, Journee Coats, Jeff Coats, Jasmine Jones, EJ Vargas, Gabriel Chavez, Synica Pyszko, AJ Pyszko and Marsha Caswell.

Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
