Phil will always be remembered for his kind approachable smile and for influencing many of us thru his teaching. He was a teacher and as I grew up, a friend you never forgot. He will be missed.

Through all the years of covering Xenia High School athletics for the Xenia Gazette, I found that Phil was not just a great coach, but a great person, as well. I will always remember the time spent talking baseball with Phil while covering the Buccaneers each spring, basketball in the winter, and how great his kids were each season. To Phil's family, my condolences. He will be missed by many. Phil was always a great ambassador or XHS and the city of Xenia.

All of us have you in our thoughts. Phil was always great to us and when Bryan had a rough time being sick in school he always encouraged him. We feel so close to all of you. Linda
