Paul was a great Marine Corps veteran. As a Charter member of the Chosin Reservoir Detachment #968 of the Marine Corps League, and long time detachment Adjutant, he would unselfishly get up pre-dawn each and every day of our holiday Highway trailer fundraisers, at the I 71N rest area, and resupply the trailer with the ice, gasoline (for the generator), snacks, beverages and paper products we utilized, providing free to weary travelers. Each of the weekends for: Memorial Days, Independence Days, Labor Days, Thanksgivings, and Christmases. Often these weekends were Thursday thru Monday (5 days in length) and he was always earlier than any other volunteer. We raised substantial amounts of money for the MCL and the Young Marines of the MCL, because of his efforts to support our units.

May you rest in peace Marine,
You are already missed
