I remember him well! I delivered newspapers to his grandparents in Fairview. So incredibly intelligent I just loved talking to him. Wish we had been closer after high school! Our condolences to all affected by his loss! God bless!

Dick was my friend for more than 30 years and we shared some wonderful adventures together. But the time we spent together in the 10+ years since his stroke were the most powerful. His positive attitude, his unwillingness to give up hope, and his commitment to live his life on his own terms reminded me, and continues to remind me, that we should be thankful for every day, regardless of the challenges. How fitting that his struggle should come to an end on the eve of Thanksgiving Day. God Speed my friend.
