I was devastated to learn of Gary's passing. I worked with Gary at GM, and have the greatest respect for him as a friend and a co-worker. Our thoughts & prayers go out to the entire Ford family. Gary will definitely be missed...

My family has been lucky enough to live next door to Gary and Gayle Ford for nearly 22 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gayle and the family.

Gary was a character, one of the good guys. His wit and intelligence perfectly aligned with his natural gift for engaging storytelling. I will miss the conversations over the fence, catching up with each other while getting the mail, and having him suddenly appear outside of his garage when I was mowing, gesturing to me to cut his lawn as well. The neighborhood won´t be the same without him.
