I am so sorry to learn of Harry's passing. He was a very special man and we dated a few times at OSU. I remember when I got engaged to another Harry, Harry Peare was the first person that I had formerly dated that I wanted to share the news with. I always considered him a good friend. It turned out to be a small world because when he moved to start his teaching career, he ended up living next door to two of my favorite classmates from High school. Dave and Marilyn. Such a small world. Even after the loss of his last wife we shared stories of his athletic grandchildren, since my husband was a coach. Harry was proud of his family and loved them all dearly. Again, so sorry for you loss of a special man.

Met Harry at North High School. It was Mr. Peare then. He had one of my kids from the Children's Home in his class. And through the years would have more of our kids. Always had a smile and kind words. Always encouraging. Later after our retirements it was hi Harry at the Elk's or DAV. We would talk about old times and current times. Harry often ended our talks saying how much he missed his wife and how pretty she had been. Well Harry I hope the music is playing and you are dancing with the one you so loved and missed. You are in good hands. Thanks for all the joy you put in our lives. So long Friend.

Harry was one of the good guys you meet so seldom in life.
He was my Northridge Lions Club newsletter mentor and friend.
