Eileen Linda Davidson

Eileen Linda Davidson of Springfield, OH passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus on March 12, 2026. Eileen was born in Springfield, OH to Ottis and Gladys Bowen on November 21, 1946, and was the 4th of 8 children. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1965, got married and moved to Findlay, OH where she had 2 children. In 1972, the family moved to Indiana and finally settled in New Palestine, IN. 

Eileen worked for AFNB/Bank One (now Chase) for over 20 years. She also worked for Wackenhut Security which she enjoyed immensely. That was her favorite job, which matched her personality, Miss Social, working so many events like the Colts games, concerts, Indy 500, Indiana State Fair and many others.

 Eileen would light up any room she walked into. She always made herself known by her infectious smile and laughter. Eileen always showed people how to be kind and love everyone and her love was one of a kind. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids, that's what she lived for. She also adored her animals; cats, dogs, birds, you name it she loved everything and everyone. 

The last part of her life she lived with her sister Penny, whom she lived with for over 10 years, which they both loved tremendously. We are forever grateful to Penny for all the love and care she shown for her sister Eileen. Eileen will be greatly missed by everyone. 

Eileen joins her parents Ottis and Gladys Bowen in Heaven along with her sister, Barbara Patton and her brother-in-law's Bill and Leon. She is survived by her son Bob (Angela) Davidson and daughter Missy (Jeremy) Howser, her grandchildren TJ (Alexis) Davidson, Zak Davidson, Alicia (Collin) Walker, Zoyie Davidson, Zayne (Sarah) Davidson, and Alex (Olivia) Davidson, her great-grandchildren Chase, Ashten, Braxton, Bryson, Addi, Hunter, Dawson, Kayla, Olivia, Merida, Wade and Aiden. As well as her siblings Terry (Diane), Shirley, Cindy, Dixie, Penny and Keith (Trudy) and many nieces and nephews.

Services to honor Eileen will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Indiana Funeral Care Greenwood Chapel located at 2433 East Main Street Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with service to immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
