Larry Dean Morgan, fondly known to many as the "Toothman," passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in Camby, Indiana. Born on October 16, 1956, in Hyden, Kentucky, Larry dedicated over five decades of his life to his profession as a dental lab technician, commencing his career at the young age of 17. His expertise and dedication earned him a respected place in his field, where his meticulous craftsmanship improved countless smiles.

Larry was a man of warm spirit and engaging personality. Known for his kindness and a captivating smile that could light up a room, he had a remarkable ability to connect with others, never an unfamiliar face in any crowd. His love for conversation and genuine interest in people made him a beloved figure amongst family, friends, and colleagues alike.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Larry followed college and professional athletics with great enthusiasm. He was an avid fan of Purdue basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. His love for the Indianapolis 500 was such that he often invited friends from Ohio to experience the excitement alongside him, blending friendship and sportsmanship in joyful gatherings.

Among Larry's proudest accomplishments was his marriage to his beloved wife, Marilyn Morgan, in September 1993 after five years of devoted courtship. Their partnership was a cornerstone of his life, marked by mutual love and companionship.

Larry's family remembers him with deep affection. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; his mother, Jennifer Muncy; stepdaughter Melanie Ann Lahrman; grandchildren Kayla Marie Winkler, Alyssa Ann Dillman, and Savanah Renee Lahrman; great-grandchild Kace Winkler; sisters Joyce Morgan, Marsha Pugh, and Charlene Walker; and brothers Mitchell Lynn Morgan and Kenny Parker Morgan. He was predeceased by his father, Hughes “Twist” Morgan, and sister Marietta Morgan.

All who knew Larry will cherish his memory—his kindness, his readiness to listen, and his ever-present smile. His legacy of warmth and dedication will endure in the hearts of those he touched.
