Danny J. Sullivan

Danny J. Sullivan, 85, of Peru passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Danny was born on September 3, 1940 to Ralph and Ruby (Angle) Sullivan. He married Phyllis (Hartwick) Sullivan on August 18, 1993 and she preceded him in death on June 5, 2022.

Danny retired from Nipsco Gas Company as a service man, and graduated from Bunker Hill High School. Danny was an avid Purdue Basketball fan, and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. While attending Eastpointe Bible Church in Peru, Indiana, Danny would often hand out suckers to the kids at church.

Danny is survived by three children; Mark (Julie) Sullivan of Greenwood, Indiana, Susan (Jim) Hoover of Peru, Indiana, and Jodi (Max) Salisbury of England. He is also survived by grandchildren; Kimberly Sullivan, Kaitlyn Sullivan, David Hoover, Amy Hudson, Joseph Salsbury, Katherine Bourne, 5 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Suzie Beckner.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother David Sullivan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 11am-1pm at Eastpointe Bible Church, 1540 East Paw Paw Pike, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 1pm with Pastor Jim Butler officiating. Burial will take place at Springdale Cemetery in Bunker Hill, Indiana.
