Elbert Brooks Sullivan of Philadelphia, MS, born on June 2, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to Elbert Brooks Jr and Gilda Carr Sullivan. He gained his angel wings on February 26, 2026, at Unity Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas. Known by family and friends as Brooks, who was a devoted loving companion to his baby, the love of his life, Rachel Butts.

Brooks was preceded in death by his parents (Elbert and Gilda Sullivan); paternal grandparents, Elbert Brooks Sr. and Gladys Crouch Sullivan; maternal grandparents, Jefferson Davis and Jewl Carr; brothers, Barry Sullivan and Alan Sullivan; sisters, Audry Gayle Sullivan Wilkerson; one son, Patrick Sullivan and one daughter, Susan Ben; One special fur baby, RatDog.

Brooks is survived by his loving companion, Rachel Butts, of the home; one son, Casey (Kalee) Sullivan of Star City, AR; two daughters, Karla (Michael) Powell of Bradford, AR and Debra (Barron) Clark of Newport, AR; two brothers, Jeff (Maura) Sullivan of Nashville, TN, Alton Brooks (Debra) Sullivan of Memphis, TN and two sisters, Amy Carter of Germantown, TN and Lorna McClusky of Memphis, TN and one very special fur baby, Maximus. He is survived by three granddaughters, Makinzie Sullivan, Rachel Caraway and Meghan Pearson; four grandsons, Tyler Moldan, Bobby Moldan, Jakob Moldan and Alex Moldan; six great grandchildren, Sarah Turner, Braidyn Pearson, Emily Dunn, CJ Pearson, Dakota Pearson and Colton Gaspard; one great-great grandson (due at any time), Hudson Maddox Powell along with a host of nieces, nephews and family. He also leaves behind two very special friends, Tim and Nancy Hardy of Philadelphia, MS.

Brooks enjoyed having cookouts with family; fishing and shooting his guns also spending time with his family and friends. His most prized winning hobby was being with Rachel. He and Rachel were inseparable. They did everything together. His life mission was to make her happy. They enjoyed getting out with their dog, Maximus, and going on drives and enjoying life. They led a simple life full of love and happiness.

Arrangements were entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Bradford.
