Thomas Walker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory - Greenwood Chapel on Mar. 18, 2026.
Thomas David Walker, age 84, of Greenwood, Indiana, known to his friends as David, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1941, in Beech Grove, Indiana, and grew up in the beautiful Fountain Square area.

David attended Arsenal Technical High School and later built a career as a life insurance salesman for Prudential. He was well respected by his coworkers until his retirement.

He had a lifelong curiosity about history and aeronautics, which led him on adventures around the globe. David held a deep respect for the military and visited many historical sites to honor and learn from the past.

David was a devoted Christian. He lived out his faithfulness by being an example of reliability, honesty, and always kept the highest integrity in all that he did.

Besides taking care of his much-loved wife, he was a dedicated father and stepfather. David's time was spent cheering for Notre Dame football, volunteering for Community South Hospital, and serving as a valued member of the USO volunteer team.

David's laughter and warm smile filled any room he entered. He was a devoted caregiver to his loving wife, Annie, and was deeply loved by her in return. After Annie's passing, David joined Southland Community Church and made new friends and travel mates.

David will be remembered for his faith, his love of family, and his warm sense of humor.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23
