My condolences to Jim and family. I remember Sally's beautiful smile, kind loving personality. She made time to help the less fortunate. Sally recognized that she has been blessed and wants to share her blessings with others. I am sure she used both that smile and kindness daily throughout her life devoted to family, church, patients, colleagues and community...

My sincerest sympathies to Dr. Pomputius and family on the loss of Dr. Sally Abbott. She was a giant in the health care field in Springfield. I always respected her pioneering leadership style, compassion for her patients especially the elderly and her wisdom when we worked together in the Medical Staff. May she rest in peace. Sally was a nice person and had a way of making a patient feel comfortable whatever the circumstance. Dr. Pomputius and family I'm very sorry for your loss. The world needs more like them both.

Dr. Sally Abbott a life of inspiration...
Dr. Sally Abbott lives on as her legacy is planted in many lives. Born to encourage joy and gratification
with a job "well done"; making a step for others. Dr. Abbott is one of the biggest influences in my life.
Dr. Sally, Dr. Jim, adult children, and grandchildren are "real-life" people. A family guided by God's Trinity.
And providing life for others is my deep reflection. She and Pastor Kay M Glaesner live on with many lives.
Awesome, amazing, very amazing is the living legacy of Dr. Sally, Dr. Jim their adult children, and grandchildren.
Grateful to God for Dr. Abbott and her family...a lifetime gift of celebration.
Her courage, wisdom, hope, and faith will live on for all to know. We celebrate and give thanks to
our forever friend, Dr. Sally Abbott. I join those who wish and know special love with Dr. Abbott and her family.

When we started attending St. John's Lutheran Church, Sally made us feel welcomed and made us feel like family. She was a wonderful person and friend.
