Charles Gamache Obituary

Charles Edward Gamache, Jr.

Greenfield, MA - Charles Edward Gamache, Jr. 66, of 52 Turners Falls Road Greenfield, died at home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Charles was known to his family as Chet or Chetty and Charlie to his friends. He grew up in East Deerfield, MA where he attended the Old Deerfield Grammar School. He then went on to graduate from Frontier Regional High School in 1975 where he ran Track and Cross Country. Later on after moving to Greenfield, Charles was also a member of several local Pool Table Leagues.

Charles worked in several local manufacturing jobs including Montague Mills, Heat Fab, Oxford Pickle Company and the last 17 years at Pro Pel Plastics in Whately. Charles was considered an extremely hard worker and gave 100% of himself to his work.

Charles leaves behind his father Charles Edward Gamache Sr. and was pre-deceased by his beloved mother Dorothy Eva (Lapine Gamache). He also leaves his siblings Anthony, Tina (George), Richard (Lori), Sandra, Allen (Lorraine), Judith, and Phyllis (Danny).

Charles was a very private person who never liked being the center of attention and has requested that there will be no services.
