Holland, MA - Miss Beatrice T. Richard, 94, of Holland, MA, formerly of New Hampshire, passed away at the Care One at Millbury on January 8, 2024 after a period of declining health.

Born in Pembroke, Beatrice was the daughter of the late Pierre and Gertrude (Clement) Richard. She was raised and educated in Pembroke.

In earlier years, she was employed at the China Mills in Suncook. Beatrice then joined the community of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, where she remained for over 20 years. After leaving the Holy Cross community, she went on to work as a cook at the Hunt Home in Nashua, later matriculating to the Greenbriar Nursing Home, where she worked for 18 years.

She was a past member of the St. Therese Rosebush Society at St. John the Baptist Parish in Allenstown.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Glanda Richard, Rachel Gendron, Bernard Richard, Sylvia Hebert and Geneva Carrier.

Beatrice is survived by her nieces and nephews as well as her dear friend, Evelyn Bernier and her daughter, Jennifer Gibson, who she treated as her own.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th from 9:30 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 A.M. Services will conclude at St. John the Baptist Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to St. John the Baptist Church, 10 School St. Allenstown, NH 03275.
