I worked with Dan at a local grocery store (Super Duper) for a number of years back in the 1970's. He's always been a "car guy"! I hadn't seen him in many decades, but 6 to 8 years ago I recognized him at a Car's & Coffee at Carillon Park in Dayton! I gave him a shout out and we talked about old days for a couple hours. We saw each other many times since then and shot the breeze. I hadn't seen him at the car shows in a while since I spent most of my time last summer trying to get my '72 442 ready for paint. I was shocked to see his obituary this morning! I never new of his illness. I'll sure miss talking with him at car shows!
My sympathies to his wife, family and friends!
