Rita Moeller, born on March 27, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, peacefully departed this life on February 6, 2026, in Vandalia, Ohio. A loving mother, wife, and dedicated professional, Rita leaves behind a legacy of compassion and warmth that touched the hearts of many throughout her life.

Rita enjoyed a commendable career spanning almost 30 years as a Central Supply Tech at St. Elizabeth, Miami Valley South, and Miami Valley Hospital. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her quick wit and great sense of humor, making her a beloved figure among her colleagues and patients alike.

A proud graduate of Carroll High School, class of 1967, Rita carried the values of friendship and family throughout her life. She was married for 22 years to Army Veteran Roland "Ron" Moeller, who honorably served in Korea as a PFC. Together, they built a life filled with love and shared experiences.

Rita was a devoted mother to her daughter, Danielle Moeller, creating cherished memories that included special days like "Take Your Daughter to Work Day." Danielle fondly recalls the simple joys they shared, whether it was enjoying hospital cafeteria food or curling up in her mother’s lap at the library.

In addition to her daughter, Rita is mourned by her bonus son, Tim, sister-in-law, Sharron Stukenborg, and numerous step-children, nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her memory dear.

Rita's interests were diverse and enriching; she took joy in reading, music, and watching her favorite sports, including wrestling, hockey, and football. Her enjoyment of life extended to fishing with Danielle and savoring a beer with friends now and then. Rita also cherished the company of her beloved dogs, Eddie and Tilly, who brought her great comfort and companionship.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Stonesprings of Vandalia and Ohio's Hospice for the compassionate care and kindness they showed Rita in her final days.

Rita Moeller’s spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched, and her memory will forever be a source of strength and love for her family and friends.
