Stephen G. Bicknell

Stephen G. Bicknell - age 74, of Farragut, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, February 16, 2026. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. Steve was a founding member of Northshore Fellowship. After graduating from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, he was a beloved educator and coach for several years. He retired from Loudon County Farm Bureau after more than 30 years of service. Steve was a talented musician and singer. He enjoyed being outdoors boating, fishing, singing in church and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Gene L. Bicknell and Mary J. Norvell Bicknell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas S. and Helen R. Chaney.

Steve is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dr. Teresa Chaney Bicknell; daughters and husbands, Kristen and Rev. Stephen Smith, Kerin and Rev. Matthew Cornett; grandchildren: Trey Smith (Erica), Caleb Smith, Alexandria Smith, Isabella Cornett, and Lucas Cornett; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia and Mia Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Timothy and Mary Bicknell; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Jim Hamilton Jr.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wendell T. and Sharon Chaney and Jeffrey and Betty Chaney, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends may come by Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City on Saturday, February 21st to pay their respects between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd at Northshore Fellowship followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Pastor Stephen W. Smith and Rev. Matthew Cornett will officiate. Family and friends will gather at Lake View Cemetery for graveside services following the service.
