I met Mike (Dolor) as many of we underclassmen did - on a basketball court. I remember Mike as loving dancing at street dances, and any other school dance as we grew up. As I read through his obit, my jaw was agape at all his wonderful accomplishments, with so many due to his open personality. I know I would be remiss if I passed up the opportunity to say that Mike truly was a wealthy man, if those things could be measured by the caring personality he had, and the quality and huge quantity of the friendships he welcomed and developed!!! He was an awesome man, and a true pleasure to know.

Hello Carol,
Janey and I want to wish you peace and comfort knowing that Dolor is in good hands now that his journey as left a testament that his love of life and his heart has touched so many lives that his love will live on forever in their hearts. I can truly say l have always been at awe with Dolor's infectious spirit and gentle calmness I knew the very first time I met Dolor back in 1962 at the Lebanon Junior High School when the administration would opened the gym for the early students that got there before the classes would start and we would to get together and play some records and dance on the gym floor and neither Dolor nor I have ever forgot those wonderful memories and our high school years together in the same class. I am blessed to have the known Dolor these many years as a true friend and will be always in my heart.
Peace be with you and please if you would like some company sometime along the way give us a call and Janey and I will look forward to hear from you and perhaps you could come here for dinner too and we could get out and do something fun together like the time we went down to Manchester to see Elvis and those collector cars parked outside the hotel we stayed in.
