Joyce McKee Obituary
Orford, NH - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loved Wife, Mother, Grammie, Grand-Grammie and friend, Joyce McKee. Joyce passed on Wednesday January 27, 2024 at the age of 86. She was born in Orford NH on November 14, 1937 to Verna and Glen Marsh.
Joyce graduated from Orford High School, married Bill McKee on March 17, 1956. They traveled the world throughout his Air Force career and ultimately settling back down in Orford.
To know her was to love her. She leaves a legacy of joy and finding happiness in everything from the 'magical' holidays together to slicing strawberries for our favorite dessert. Her joy of being surrounded by those she loved, a dinner together, tending to her garden and taking care of the birds will remain in our hearts. She lived her life loving everyone around her… keeping us all taken care of and ensuring we had everything we ever needed and wanted. She loved any reason to bring everyone together and was even planning fireworks and a big turkey dinner in her final days surrounded by her family. All the time still would have never been enough with the beautiful, sincere, warm, welcoming, and perfectly mothering person she was. She inspired a life well lived and well loved, taking in the best of each day and living with a heart full of gratitude and happiness. May we all live as she did… she was the key to happiness and we are forever better and blessed for knowing her.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 67 years William B. McKee, her sons Henry A. McKee and William J. McKee, and daughter in law Laura along with 6 grandchildren Maryann, Christopher, Michael, Jordan, Stephanie, and Bret. She also cherished her 11 great grandchildren Zachary, Jasmine, Hunter, Hayden, Fallen, Kingston, Scarlett, Damon, Josephine, Bodin, and the newest family member Oliver.
At Joyce's request there will be no funeral or memorial services.
Hale Funeral Home, 187 Upper Plain assisted the family.

Allan and i are so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing! I have so many good and fun memories because we grew up together! She endured so much physical pain but always with such grace! I never heard her complain! I am so glad i stopped to see her this summer! Rest in peace Joyce! I know you are finally free of pain! I love you Joyce!
