I was a member of her Tupelo, Mississippi, HS graduation class and particiapated in school oragaizations with her. Although I have visited with her only once since graduation (at a HS reunion), I consider her as a loving childhood friend and a liftime muse.

Was an honor to be a friend of Mary Munday during our years of rearing children and as young professionals in Columbus. My husband and I were fond of her and Nelson, and were grief stricken to loose Nelson at such a young age. Seeing her obituary brought memories of our times together flooding back.
