I always enjoyed visiting with Paul when I trimmed his nails at Miller Place. Such a kind man. My sympathy to the family.

To Roger, Tim and the rest of Paul´s family: Our deepest sympathy. We hold onto great memories of Paul and Pauline. My earliest memory is of my brothers, Clair and Bruce, along with myself, being taken by my parents, Herbert and Berniece (Stein) Bye to the church in Celina for "the family gatherings." We kids were always excited because we knew there was a play ground and the best food ever. Those Steins can cook! Much later I came to appreciate the many interests and skills Paul had when attending the Jay County Gas and Steam Engine Show. Paul was an honest hard-working man. I regret my husband Verlin and I are unable to travel to Celina in honor of his life and be with family. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Uncle Paul was one of the good ones. I hold countless fond memories in my heart, but my favorite is when he joined me in taking some of my students to Space Camp in Alabama. I am so thankful that my son, Angel got to meet him this summer. In our brief visit, he made a huge impact on Angel just as he seemed to do with everyone he met. I´m truly sorry I can´t make it down for the Services. You will all be in our prayers.

2018 Paul climbed the ladder to be on the roof of a home the Builders were building. I followed him and got after him for being up there. He said well I just needed to get up here one more time. I am thankful God allowed me to serve with him and Pauline on several mission trips and building homes with St. John Builders in our community. I will miss picking on him. Deepest sympathy to his family.
