Eva L. Morrow, age 89, passed on February 7, 2024. Funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.

Mama, I guess you know I'm missing you beyond measure . So many times we talked about what do I do when you take your eternal sleep and I would cry. And you would make me stop. You reassured me you would be fine, and so would I. You said we didn't come to stay forever. You and I grew up together, we had some good times. All my memories now. I know you are our guardian angel now. I feel you sometimes, mama. I know you are still watching over me. I love you forever and I will miss you just as much. The best friend that is the most everything. Beautiful, smart and loving. So many loved you. But never as much as me. I love you mama. Sleep on. My "Tookie"

Mama, you were my best friend, but you knew that. There was nothing I wouldn't do for you. Whatever you wanted most of the time I made it happen...because that is what you do for your mother. You and I did some growing up together . And it only made us closer and closer. I know you worried about me, how I would handle you taking your eternal sleep, we had talks about that. And I would always cry. But you would make me stop, ensuring me that you would be fine, and so would I. That we didn't come to stay forever. I know you are watching over me, my angel and Trina kalan Gigi and your great lil loves. I miss you. So many time's I want to call, then I remember, you are a angel now. So I have to talk that way. You were a beautiful woman, smart and loving. So many people loved you. But none more than me. I love you mama and I miss you terribly. But, like you said, I am doing okay. Rest easy "Tookie"

thank you for being the absolute best grandmother i could ever ask for through my childhood up to my early twenties. you will always be in my heart for as long as i live. rest now, memaw. i miss you every single day

I will always remember when I 1st met you and you invited me to come see you. Some didn't understand. I am glad the "flowers" I was able to share with you that I saw you enjoy. You are no longer in any pain. Rest.
