Normand Guerin Obituary

Normand H. Guerin

Erving, MA - Normand H. Guerin, 83, of Poplar Mountain Road died Sunday 2/25/24 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Chicopee, MA, on April 1, 1940, the son of Joesph A. and Marie (Morin) Guerin.

Normand was a machinist for Spaulding's for many years until his retirement. He also owned his taxidermy shop that he loved and still worked doing this through his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting but especially pheasant hunting with his dogs.

Among his survivors, Normand leaves his son, Brian Guerin, his wife Ashley, and their children Eli and Cordelia, all of Erving and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Normand was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maryann Guerin on December 4, 2016. He was also predeceased by his sisters Yvette Boulerice, Lillian G. Smith, and brother George Guerin.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Technical School Athletic Revolving Fund, 82 Industrial Blvd, Turners Falls, MA 01376.
