Jane D. Pineo

Concord, NH - Jane D. (Smith) Pineo, died Friday, March 1, 2024, on her 89th birthday, after a period of declining health. She was born in Concord, the daughter of James E. and Dorothy G. (Beckett) Smith and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from St. John High School, Class of 1953 and was a member of St. Peter's Church/Christ the Parish in Concord. Jane was a loving wife and aunt and devoted at-home caregiver for several family members over the course of her lifetime.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Lester R. Pineo Jr., and her sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Mary (Smith) Wood and nephew, Michael McCaffrey.

She is survived by her sister Barbara (Smith) McCaffrey, nieces, Mary E. Walker and her husband Craig of Concord, Anne Wood-Wilber and husband Michael of Marlborough and Ellen Rosewood of Massachusetts and many great nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will not be held.

A funeral service will be celebrated at Water's Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, Friday, March 8, 2024 at 10am.

Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Concord.
