Dana Jewett Obituary
Holyoke, MA - Dana A. Jewett Jr., 84, passed away on February 21, 2024 surrounded by loving family. Dana was the son of the late Dana A. Jewett and Eleanor (Fisher).
Dana graduated from the Deerfield Academy and Nichols College. He served in the United States Navy in Vietnam.
Dana leaves his wife of 23 years, Mary (Martins), 4 step-children, Michael Obrzut (Alice) Ludlow MA, Sharon Sepenak (Ron) Agawam MA, Sandy Jenkins (Todd) Palmer MA, Laurie Cioch (David) Springfield MA, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his only brother, David Jewett of Hartford CT, a dear friend Tony who met Dana in rehab, a fellow veteran, a fishing friend Dan and many dear relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on March 16, 2024 at 2:45pm at the Brookside Cemetery on Long Plain Road in South Deerfield, MA.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Dana's memory to "DAV" Chapter II P.O. Box 11 Chicopee, MA 01020.

I was sorry to hear off Dana's passing. My mother Eleanor Sharkey White from So Deerfield watched Dana and David when they were young. Through the years Dana and David would stop to visit her and my father at our home on Sugarloaf Street until their passing. My father Donald served in the United States Navy in the 1950s had a bond with Dana through their mutual service in the Navy. They understood what each had been through. I remember visiting Dana Sr and Eleanor at their home on North Main Street with my mother. My family had a life long friendship with Dana and his family. My condolences to you and Dana's family.
