Travis MacEachern Obituary

Travis MacEachern

Concord, NH - In Loving Memory of Travis James MacEachern, September 25th, 1986 – March 8th, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a soul whose light brightened our lives in so many different ways. Travis, at the age of 37, left us too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity that will forever resonate with us and those who knew him.

Travis was born in Concord, New Hampshire, the youngest child of the MacEachern family, and enjoyed his time growing up in the woods of Henniker, NH. He later moved to Colorado and was currently living in Tabernash, where he was the proud General Manager of a popular bistro in nearby Winter Park.

Thoughtful and considerate, Trav had a remarkable ability to bring comfort and laughter to others, offering understanding and smiles in moments of need. He had his struggles, like all of us, but never let those hard times define him.

He loved nature and being outside, but music was at the core of his being. Whether strumming his acoustic guitar, plucking his bass or lost in the notes of a melody, the rhythm of life pulsed through his veins. A gifted musician and writer, he understood the depths of life more than most.

Whether Trav was boogying at a Moe. show or music festival, snowboarding down a mountain or sitting around a fire playing music with friends, his presence was known wherever he went. He was a magnetic force, effortlessly drawing people toward him with a warmth that left no heart untouched. His infectious positivity created a ripple effect, turning ordinary encounters into moments of joy and connection. Whether through a genuine smile, a listening ear or a comforting presence, he had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued, understood and seen.

He was empathetic and kind. Everyone that knew him loved him; he radiated a blend of authenticity, compassion, and an innate understanding of the human spirit that left an indelible mark on those lucky enough to know him.

Travis was truly one of a kind, and as we navigate the silence left in his absence, we remember the laughter, the music, and the love he shared so generously and selflessly.

In each note, in every step taken on a mountain trail, in the verses left behind, and in the kindness shared, his spirit will forever live on.

Travis leaves behind countless family, friends and colleagues that loved him beyond measure.

A celebration of life will be planned in New Hampshire.

I didn´t know Travis well, but I don´t think he had any idea how much the small moments of his kindness, and infectious smile, made my days in High School a little more bearable. He was one of the few upper classmates who made a difference by just being a good soul. My deepest sympathies and condolences to his family and friends. To his parents, you truly raised a legend.

I watched Travis grow up over the years that I knew him at HCS. My son Toph, who was born less than a week after Travis, was one of his close classmates. I remember his wonderful sense of Humor over the years as he became a Truly Fine Young Adult & Musician. His Band " Boogie on Alice " was truly Memorable, as was Travis himself. RIP my young friend. You will be missed by ALL WHO KNEW YOU.

I went to school with Justin but knew Travis because in HENNIKER everyone knows everyone especially just a few years apart. I definitely envied his free spirited approach to life and the way he always had a positive vibe and a smile when I saw him throughout the years till we all moved on where life takes us. Thoughts and Prayers to his Family in these tough days ahead!!
