Justine Putt Obituary
She was born on March 22, 1934 in Toledo Ohio to Peter Paul and Christine Russian Saroff. Soon after moving to Memphis, she met our father and forever soulmate, Oscar Holland Putt. Justine spent her life as a loving housewife to her husband and a caring mother to her children and grandchildren. In addition, she forged a successful career in retail and later as an LPN where she continued her loving caregiving as a health provider for the elderly. She was a faithful Catholic and Christian who also attended National Avenue Baptist Church.
Justine is survived by her two sons Michael Putt (Kathy) of Holladay TN, and Christopher Putt (Norma) of Gatlinburg TN, daughters Nancy Frederick of Fulton MS. and Cathy Russell of Memphis TN, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Holland Putt; brother, Peter Saroff Jr.; sister, JoeAnn Matthews; daughter, Carol Pearson; and granddaughters, Karen Lee Frederick and Carolyn Sue Pearson Delph.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1st at 11 a.m. at High Point Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Jerry Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery.
The Lord came to my support: He set me free and rescued me because he loves me.
