Diane Overstreet Obituary
Greenfield, MA - Diane H. Overstreet (Glazier) of Greenfield succumbed to a short battle with cancer on Wednesday March 27th, 2024, at the age of 75. Born June 2nd, 1948, in Greenfield, Massachusetts to Warren and Bernice Glazier.
Diane grew up in Leverett and graduated from the then Amherst High School in 1966. She continued her education at UMASS Amherst completing 2 years before marrying.
Diane spent her working career as a medical biller in both the hospital (Baystate) and private practice settings. Upon retirement, she enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling, visiting the beach, relaxing at Marcus and Melissa's pool, and spending time with family.
Diane is predeceased by her husband, Michael L. Overstreet, her daughter, Melissa L. Stetson (Overstreet), and both of her parents. She leaves behind her son, Jason B. Overstreet, daughter in law, Sudi-Laura G. Overstreet and grandson, Isaac M-G. Overstreet of Pittsboro, North Carolina, her son in law, Marcus Stetson of Bernardston, her brothers, Peter and Dana Glazier of Leverett, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Plainview Cemetery in Leverett on Saturday, April 27th at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
