What sad news! I regret I never met Kay in person. We connected through a mutual interest in genealogy and the discovery of shared DNA and corresponded via email for 3+ years. I will miss Kay's insights, humor and comments very much. She was an inspiring and caring person. May she rest in peace.

I have fond memories of Kay from our time working together at WSU. She was a caring and supportive advisor to her students and a true friend to her colleagues. Kay was a gentle soul and I´m grateful to have known her. May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her.

Sorry to hear about your wife, Mike. It been over 30 years since we´ve spoken. You were working at DP&L and I worked at IBM. I hope you are well.

Kay was such a great person with such a huge encompassing heart and a tru practitioner of lovingkindness. She was a good friend back in the seventies and she was very helpful to me as a friend. Her husband is a a fortunate man indeed to be with her for so long. My condolences to Michael and family....the world has lost a very bright light.
