Irene Moore Obituary

Irene Dorothy Moore

Westhampton, MA - In loving memory of Irene Dorothy Moore, a gentle soul who graced this world with her quiet presence and boundless love. She passed away peacefully on March 13th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering happiness.

Irene was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on December 9th, 1950. She was a devoted mother to her two children, Thomas and Michelle, and her greatest joy was found in the love she shared with her cherished grandchildren: Ian, Lily (Bunny), Faith and Kodyn (Kody). Her eyes sparkled with joy whenever she was with her babyboys or baby-girls. Their presence brought immense happiness and she cherished every moment spent in their company.

A true introvert, Irene found solace in the simplicity of life, content to observe the world around her with a peaceful demeanor. Despite facing challenges, she never burdened others with her troubles, choosing instead to focus on spreading warmth and positivity wherever she went.

Throughout her life, Irene exemplified grace, kindness, and selflessness. She faced life's challenges with stoicism, never once complaining or burdening others with her own struggles. Her peaceful demeanor and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to call her family or friend.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the remarkable life of Irene Dorothy Moore at a gathering of remembrance and love on June 1st, 2024, at 10:30 AM. The celebration will be held at the Gill Church, located at One Center Road, Gill, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that floral arrangements or condolences be sent to: Michelle Moore, 497 East Pleasant Street , Apt 117, Amherst, MA 01002, as a token of remembrance for Irene's life and legacy.

In honoring Irene's vibrant spirit and joyful nature, we encourage all attendees to dress in attire that reflects her love for life. While traditional black attire is welcomed, we also invite you to wear white or colors that resonate with Irene's bright and loving personality. Let us come together not in mourning, but in celebration of a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will forever endure.

Your presence and support during this time are deeply appreciated as we gather to honor and remember Irene, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Together, let us share stories, laughter, and cherished memories as we pay tribute to a woman whose light continues to shine brightly in our hearts. Irene will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and friends.

Oir condolences go out to Shelley and Tom. Irene was quiet but had a bubbly personality. She always had a smile on her face, a kind word to say and the laugh when she spoke. She touched so many lives and always spoke highly of her family and grandchildren. Irene will be missed.
