Fitchburg, MA - Christine Cheryl (Coutu) Dionne
1/22/48 - 5/10/24
Christine passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 10th in Leominster Hospital, after a long illness, with her pride and joy by her side.
She was born to William and Antionette (Banash) Coutu, in Montague, MA and was raised in the Village of Turners Falls, MA
While raising her daughter, she went to Nursing School. She graduated Valedictorian in 1979, and spent many years working nights at Leominster Hospital.
She began a new start and enjoyed many years living in Florida near Daytona and was an avid racing fan, this is where she received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, graduating Salutatorian
She leaves her Daughter, Cheryl (Dionne) and her husband Todd Crawford and 2 Grandcats, Lilly & JayJay of Fitchburg. Two Sisters, JoAnne Coutu and her husband Paul Skiathis of Bernardston and Catherine Coutu and her husband Chuck Adams of Greenfield, several nieces and nephews.
As she wished, there will be no calling hours.
We will miss you and we are SO PROUD OF YOU!

So very sorry for your loss of your mom. Sending you and Todd love, hugs and prayers . I will always remember watching Nascar with her and Cheryl. Chris and I were Jimmy Johnson fans and I think Cheryl was Jeff Gordan fan.

I am sorry to hear of Chris's passing. I remember the Christmas Eves at our grandmother's house. So many of us cousins, we had to eat in shifts. I will always remember Christine.
