Dearest Cheryl,Was so saddened to receive invitation to a Celebration of Life to honor Henry. I´ll do my very best to be there to pay tribute
to a man you brought into our lives over sixty years ago and with whom we shared so many
wonderful times with. I´m so happy we shared dinner with the both of you on your return trip from New London and the dedication of a new submarine. He was so proud and decked out in his vest that
displayed his love and service
to his country with the Navy and time spent on his submarine that prompted others in the restaurant to thank him for his service. He reveled that night in describing
the sign he made to place in the sub directing them to his favorite brewery The Harpoon
in Windsor VT. We promised our next get together would indeed be at The Harpoon but sadly could never had imagined it would be to celebrate his life. Come hell or high water I´ll be there! Jim is now in a nursing home but was so saddened to hear of his passing. We shared so many fun times and we have the pictures of the four of us in the Photo Booth at our last class reunion for Greenfield in 2022!
Remember us as loving you, Cheryl and the man you brought into our lives. Michael and Christopher, we haven´t seen you since you were toddlers but we offer you our sincere condolences on the loss of your father, a great man.

Last night at Harpoon Jason and the band played Fire and Rain by James Taylor in memory of Henry. I did always think I would see him again so it struck home. I will miss him
